About Jerrica
Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma-informed, culturally affirming therapy for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals, women, and teens throughout Tulsa and Oklahoma.
My Story
Starting therapy can feel overwhelming — but it doesn’t have to be. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
My work is grounded in the belief that every person carries a story worth honoring. I work with individuals who have experienced trauma and understand deeply that healing doesn’t look the same for everyone. Together, we’ll move at your pace — building tools for stability, processing what’s happened, and reconnecting with who you truly are beneath the weight of what you’ve carried.
“I would be honored to join you on your journey of healing and offer a space where you can show up as your most authentic self.”
I especially enjoy working with members of the BIPOC community, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, and women navigating the challenges of motherhood, identity, and life transitions. These are populations I feel deeply connected to and am honored to support. I strive to create a space that is affirming, compassionate, and entirely free of judgment.
Before sitting across from you, I spent years studying not just the science of mental health, but the human experience behind it — the systemic pressures, the cultural weight, the way identity shapes everything from how we grieve to how we love. My training at Rogers State University grounded me in community counseling principles, and my practice is built on the understanding that you are the expert on your own life. I am here to walk alongside you, not ahead of you.
If you’re ready to take the next step — or if you’re simply curious about what therapy might look like for you — I would love to connect.
I see teens and adults for individual therapy only, both in person at the Synergy Center for Wellbeing in Tulsa and via secure virtual sessions throughout Oklahoma.

How I Work
I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. These are the lenses through which we’ll do the work together — chosen based on what fits you best.
We work directly with the impact of past traumatic events on your body, mind, and relationships — not by reliving the pain, but by processing it in ways that create lasting relief and resilience.
Imagine different parts of yourself — the protector, the critic, the wounded child. Parts Work helps us understand and heal these inner voices rather than fighting them, creating internal harmony.
Our earliest relationships shape how we connect with others today. By exploring attachment patterns, we can understand why you show up the way you do — and build new, healthier patterns going forward.
Therapy isn’t just about what’s broken. We also identify and amplify what you already do well — your resilience, your values, your capacity for growth — and use those as the foundation for healing.
No single therapy works for everyone. I pull from multiple evidence-based modalities and tailor our work to what you need in each season of healing — adapting as you grow and change.
Your racial identity, cultural background, and community are not separate from your mental health — they are central to it. I bring cultural humility and ongoing learning to every session.
